These Magazines and Newsletters were issued by the railroads for their employees. Each issue had one or more feature articles and one such is listed for some issues. Other articles, though not always in every issue, include listings of deceased employees, retirements, promotions, service anniversaries, safety awards, on-line industries, historical notes, editorial comment and other information of interest to railroad men. All issues are in excellent condition for their age unless exceptions are noted. Photos of any item will be e-mailed upon request. Timely Topics was a 4-page newsletter issued by the Traffic Department for both the public and railway employees beginning in about 1935 and continuing for an undetermined period thereafter. The North Western Newsliner was a nicely done magazine published from November 1945 through December 1955 when it was discontinued. Measuring 8-1/2” x 11” and printed on slick paper, these issues run up to about 36 pages.
