Images of Evil – Nazi Atrocities. On August 24, 1987, the New York Post published historic never-before-seen photos of German war crimes – photos that had just been found in a garbage can in Patterson, NJ. The photos were traced to a recently assassinated alleged war criminal and were purchased by the New York Post.. This is the complete 08/24/1987 issue complete with the pictures and background material. It is doubtful any other newspaper would have published these photos. Excellent condition. Photo [cb]		$10.00

Northwest Cook County, IL – Commemorative newspaper edition. On September 4, 1972, the Daily Herald, a local newspaper circulated in the northwest suburban Chicago suburbs, published a centennial edition consisting of 6 sections reviewing events over the last 100 years. Extensive coverage of Des Plaines, Mt. Prospect, Arlington Heights and adjacent towns. The 6 sections are: 1 - 1872-1900, 2 - 1900-1920, 3 - The 1920’s, 4 - The 30’s & ‘40’s, 5 - 1945-1960 & 6 - The 60’s & 70’s. Each section has 16 to 24 pages and all are in excellent condition. [cb]. The Wall Street Journal for October 20, 1987. This Tuesday, the Dow plunged 22.6 % or 508.32 points to 1738.42, a drop far greater than the 12.8% decline on October 28, 1929. A repeat of 1929? Depression in 1987 is not expected; according to this edition, and it looks like they were right. This is the complete paper – 2 sections and 78 pages, in excellent condition. [cb]		$10.00
